iBlog

I have finally chosen a blog management tool.

Choosing a dynamic server is too fraught with complications these days, and frankly, I’m just not motivated to deal with it. The ASP models, though, leave me fearful that my data can be held hostage, none provide an export that pleases me. So, I’ve chosen to stay client-side with iBlog. The author assures me that the only weakness I’ve seen in the export will be addressed, so when I get around to my own Movable Type or Roller installation [or even my fantasy Cocoon-based SuperBlog], I will be able to script the migration.

By the time you read this, it’ll be in HTML that wasn’t generated by hand. w00t.

I posted this in April 2003 during week 1520.
