Wishlist

I want one of those neat computers they have on TV that can “enhance” 6 pixels of a blurry image into a crisp, legible image of a license plate.

    The awesome thing about those computers is that you can get them to do that just by drumming your fingers on the keyboard indiscriminately like you were a monkey imitating a person. Judging from the shows I watch.

    It’s funny… actors and writers fake medicine on doctor shows and fake science on sci-fi shows, and they don’t raise any eyebrows because we are not, as a rule, doctors, from the future, or doctors from the future. But everyone in America uses a computer every day except for actors and directors, so they’re the only people who don’t know how they work or realize how stupid they look using them. Someone really ought to tell them.
