The influence of Apple design on Nintendo is undeniable in this icon that appears upon successful registration of a product serial number on my.nintendo.com.
Compare this to the user icon that I believe first appeared in System 7, but was prevalent in AppleShare and Mac OS 8.
And countless observers have commented on the Ivian feel to the DS lite. Now if they’d just get more formal and let us play DS games on our iPod, or use the Wii as an “iTV”.
(I’ve tried to determine if the Apple icon was designed by Susan Kare but can find no history for it.)
