Hexmap: Week 0x3A

A bunch of refactoring to clean up loose ends in the oauth endpoints and add the concept of “logged” visits. Because…

I built an app! It’s only installing via Xcode debugging and is very minimal. Basically it just runs an sends logged visits to the server. But using Xcode and Cursor together has been surprisingly fruitful, and I’ve been able to make a decent interface with only a little hand-editing of SwiftUI. This is the most vibe-coding thing I’ve done yet, building in a language I don’t know. I still insist on micromanaging the API, but the documentation that Codex and Gemini produce makes me think I don’t really have to, as long as I insist on them applying Postel’s law.

I posted this in January 2026 during week 2704.
