For Shannon’s birthday, 5 of us from the core “royal family” went to this reknown institution of New Orleans cuisine.

It’s not a particularly vegetarian-friendly menu, and our entourage hadn’t warned them. Atop Shannon wasn’t feeling well, that made the food experience less than memorable. And the famous hospitality is nice, but not exactly service of the sort most establishments on this list offer.

We’ll have to try again, in the right season, now that we’ve added Louisiana crawfish (when in Louisana) to our diets.
