Lars

For our 17th anniversary, we set out to one of the newest neighborhoods in walkng distance and visited the restaurand of Lars Scharp and Floor Wiggers.

They are both quirky-charming and the kitchen is great. The food was all reliably good and felt unique. Maybe no single course stood out, but every one was a “keeper”.

Unfortunately, the front of house was not so sharp. Service was unreliable and we spent too much time feeling forgotten. Most noticably, they seemed to lack a sommelier! When we splurge on such a culinary experience, we expect to have wine or non-alchoholic drink pairings that were designed along with the food.
