Week 2713

We sold the old house. It was not without drama; it was the first time for the buyers and they had some unusual expectations. But our days of double mortgages are behind us.

We built out a closet and the bedroom feels proper. Shannon laid out the shelves for the living room so it feels comfortable, too. And we’ve both been able to use our new, but unfinished, office spaces. It’s a lot of space!

Work is a bit overwhelming thanks to communications time catching up after time lost to travel. This plus the chaos of the new, unfinished house and post-Mardi Gras comedown have left me emotionally exhausted and made a lovely birthday dinner at Rijks difficult to enjoy.
