Shannon’s started refinishing our stairs. It makes the place even more of a construction zone, but also brings a sense of self-determination that I think helps us both cope with things like the big leak in the kitchen caused by contractors not bright enough to realize that an uncovered vent pipe will bring water inside.

It was fun to vote in Noorderkerk.
