Plastering and painting in the house this week; workers who can’t communicate well working for contractors who work for our contractor who can’t be bothered to communicate. I can’t wait for this to be over.

I just noticed that I failed to recognize Juneteenth. I’ll make donations later, but this feels like another step away from my American identity.
