Week 0x2D
This week saw the release of the “stolen thoughts” approach to unlocking secrets in harnesses that use the client to maintain state. I’m more convinced than ever that a stateful server is the right approach for Den.
Frustrated with fragility in the headless, sandboxed “work” loop has led me to work on the analog in “pair” stance, where I can watch in linear chat. It’s been fruitful, I think, but I’m really getting frustrated at how Builder Bear (using GPT-5.6 Terra, mostly) insists that enforcing model behavior in a loop means modifying the prompts. Models trust models, I guess!
We also went back to using Github for builds and limiting Coolify to deployment.
